If I go for blood test(HCG), in how much time will I get the report? Is it necessary to go for HCG blood test to confirm pregnancy? Kindly help

Urine pregnancy test if done on day or any time after missed period can detect pregnancy. Blood test is used to detect pregnancy only if the urine pregnancy test is doubtful or there is bleeding after detecton of pregnancy. It  Is also done to detect pregnancy in tube
