My wife got tested HBsag positive ,what does that mean,n what r the treatment options available for us

Positive Hbsag means patient having hepatitis B viral surface antigen present in blood. If patient having hepatitis b infection within 6 months it should become negative. Or else patient is considered chronic hepatitis carrier
