Hello my mom is diabetic from last 15 yrs. Age 58 . Currently her hba1c is 7.2 and acr is 140.Diabetologist told her that it will back to normal (ACR) WHEN the sugar is controlled and maintain hba1c of 6.7-6.8. SO if there any serious issue like if hba1c came to this level then acr also come to normal? Her kft test is also normal.

Sugar has to be strictly controlled for a long period..then only urine acr can be stabilized..along with some antiproteinuria medications
