Hi. Greetings. Sudden hair fall is suggestive of acute telogen effluvium. If you have had any episode of high fever, malaria, dengue, typhoid, any surgery, hospitalisation, severe mental or physical stress in the last six months, weight loss, etc then this could be cause for the telogen effluvium. This usually settles within few weeks . maintain a good nutritious diet, don't go in for head message, don't brush your hair hard.. These measures will help. You could use anaphase shampoo. If hair fall continues after a few weeks, it's better you see a dermatologist. Hope this helps.
