Hi Doc, I am 25-26 weeks pregnant. In my last blood work, I was tested for "Vitamin D,25 - Hydroxy. My level came out as 24.68 . This supposedly is less and I am deficient. My doc suggest me Uprise D3 60k tablets once every week for next 4 weeks then shift to monthly 1 tablet per month. I googled and read that high doses are not recommended in pregnancy. Is this dose OK? Please advise.
