Gut and constipation issue

My sister has ongoing digestive problems, with abdominal bloating and constipation recurring every two days. She can manage constipation with doctor-prescribed Cremaffin Plus syrup but can’t pass stool without it. What might be causing this? Should we pursue an endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ultrasound, or can it be resolved without those procedures?
