I have been taking treatment for grave hyperthyroid and atrial fibrillation for 19 months. But thyroid levels are not getting normal and i need to get thyroid profile test every 2 weeks. Kindly answer below questions Question 1: Is free thyroid profile test better than total thyroid profile test in my condition? Question 2: is there any chances for recovery? I started with 45 mg/day of neomarcazole, now on 20 mg/day. It came down to 5 mg/day in October last year. Thyroid levels fluctuates and i neec to get thyroid test every 2 weeks.
