Gerd Or faaty liver

"I have been suffering from acidity for the last two years. My main symptoms are bloating, a feeling of fullness, and persistent nausea. All my routine tests—including CBC, H. pylori, thyroid, and diabetes panels—are completely normal. However, an ultrasound showed Grade 1–2 fatty liver. I am confused about whether these symptoms are caused by GERD/acid reflux or the fatty liver. I am currently taking Pantop 40. Please guide me on the right diagnosis and treatment path

Bloating, fullness and nausea usually point to GERD or acid reflux rather than fatty liver on its own. Grade 1-2 fatty liver is a common finding, especially with extra weight, and rarely causes these particular symptoms by itself. It's possible you have both together without one causing the other.
Next Steps
Let your doctor know if symptoms continue despite your current acid-reducing medicine, since the plan may need adjusting. Losing even 5 to 10 percent of your weight through diet and regular activity usually helps improve fatty liver over time. A gastroenterologist can confirm the exact cause and guide your treatment.
Health Tips
See a doctor soon if you notice yellowing of your eyes or skin, dark urine, or pain in the upper right side of your belly.
