My father had an surgery on fungus infection before 6 months after removing the bones they gave amphotericin b medicine for one months and they saud that amphotericin b is used for stopping fungus . Now they r telling that again fungus has spread over the bones and have to go for another surgery also have to give amphotericin again for one month. I dont have a clear idea what they are saying about the medicine. Suggest me a best ENT sinus surgeon please...

Hello there. I can understand your concern. I'm sure your father is doing something wrong here. Amphotericin doesn't mean that you will never get fungus ever again. Go to a good hospital near you and get him checked out. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain. Bangalore.
