Frequent styes

What is the reason for reoccuring styes on both eyes? The stye is not visibly big but I feel the bump and there is pain in the area.

Please get your refraction done. And maintain your ocular hygiene. You can use zyaqua cleanser .take  few drops on the finger tips and rub it on your lids margins

Hello Most common cause for Recurrent stye is poor lid hygiene Other causes are diabetes, uncorrected refractive error Try A. Warm compresses B.  Scrub lashes with baby shampoo C apply antibiotic ointment like moxifloxacin twice daily over lid margins D.  Use antidandruff shampoo for scalp if you have any scalp dandruff

Frequent styes are more common when thr is refractive errors as well as if thr is lid infections of low grade.. even diabetes do cause recurrent stye.. But with due consideration to ur age even harmonal variations can also cause recurrence .. Try hot formentation and antibiotic ointment like ocupol twice a day along with proper lid hygiene. Get ur blood sugars checked and vision.. Do have check on ur monthly cycles to c any correlation.

Frequent styes could be due to an uncorrected refractive error. Make sure you have the correct glass prescription. Dandruff is another common cause for it in the absence of any other systemic disease. Get your sugars checked once too.
