Hi I have beta thal minor . In recent test my daughter was also detected with beta thal minor though both of us have hb count 11.3 . What precaution care i should take for her regading diet considering that i am working women and she only has her dinner at home rest all meals at day care.

Usually patients with thal minor lead life without any significant problems....but when they marry after becoming adults with another person with the same ,they may hv thal major babies.....for now just give a healthy diet...these patients may require blood transfusion occasionally
