Follicular Monitoring Day 9

2021-10-14 08:00:30
My wife's last cycle was delayed & was induced by 5 day course of Mendate15. She was tested negative for pregnancy. She was having Duphaston regularly since last 6-8 months but missed taking the medicine last month & menses got delayed. Doc suggested to have follicular study done. On 9th day of study it says "B/L PCOD. Both ovaries have small cysts/follicles of 5-6 mm & endometrium 4.8 mm". Have been asked to come again on 11th Day. What is B/L PCOD? Is the size of follicle too small? We are trying to conceive. Doc has asked to continue Duphaston from Day11-26 of cycle. Will it help?

B/L PCOD means bilateral polycystic ovarian disease. Follicles are small.. You can continue taking duphaston. Follow your obstetrician advice
