What is the purpose of fogging test fo eye? In railway medical it's mention that in fogging test (must not exceed + 2D). So, do I have to see clearly distant object by adding glass of bellow +2D? Kindly clear the fact.

No , the other eye is blurred by adding a plus 2 diopter lens..to countercheck the numbers the patient is wearing
