Now as u r curious to know about filariasis then i would inform u that by blood test u can get an idea about infectio n and DEC (diethyl carbimazine) is given to patient havig filariasis. But i would strongly say that its unnecessary and unwise to run tests and take tablet in ansence of any disease symptoms.
