Fever is not coming down after 6 days
My daughter8yesrs old had atyphoid vaccinarion on 9 .6.17. nd on 11th she was having fever doc gqve her macpod 100 but fever was not coming down . now shw had ablood test nd reports ahowing typhoid positive now ahw is on taxim o 100mg .my question is whether her reports qre due to vaccination or is it really typhoid
Typhoid test report details are needed. Post vaccination typhoid test will not come positive in short time. Cause of fever is typhoid only needs to be investigated.real typhoid us sometime difficult to diagnose. Keep repeating typhoid test titre(Widal test). If it's increasing then it's typhoid only

Any vaccine takes a window period if 4-8 weeks to start immunity in child. So this infection may well be typhoid. That's the reason we shd immunize kids earlier to avoid this problem to a great extent. All vaccine give protection to tune of 70-90% no vaccine is 100% .
