Felt like something fell in eye, then rubbed eye and it feels like glass was in it... I put on a cold compress and a red object came out of my eye

offcourse there was a foreign body in your  eye. since you have rubbed your eyes, hence you must consult an ophthalmologist nearby. it might have caused corneal ulcer.

There might be some foreign body in  eye causing trouble , you should wash eye with clean water , you  may use Tobrex eye drops 3-4 times..
