Excessive Burping

I'm having frequent belching since two months. I have got done LFT & USG for lower abdomen. LFT shows mild elevation in bilrubin whereas USG is normal. I have consulted a gastroenterologist which concluded that I have Gilberts Syndrome in just one visit. He gave me metrogyl 400 which didn't suit me. I'm confused and worried as what the possible reason could be. I dont experience any pain. I dont drink and smoke. Please help.

Hello. Gilbert's syndrome is a common and harmless condition. So don't worry about that. Regarding your belching, you can try with PPIs like pantoprazole 40mg once daily for 10 days. If no improvement you may require an upper GI endoscopy...
