Hi , My wife has encountered excessive bleeding yesterday , she is in her menstrual cycle but this is the first time she has bleed so much although she was wearing tampon still it ran to her legs . I am bit worried , if there is a need to visit gynaecologist or this is common. She is 30 years old and weighs 65 kg . . Regards Rajnissh Nangia

Hi, if still she is bleeding more , needs ultrasound, gynec check up and CBC. If any posituve findings, get treated. If reports normal, take Vit C tab  and foods containing vit C.
