I took a blood test and found my ESR to be 5 i am 35 years Male what is the reason for this anything serious Request you to please guide us..

If you are a smoker or if your hemoglobin is above normal or near upper limit of normal, your ESR will be low. If there is extreme dehydration it will be low. In dengue fever it will be low. It is a very nonspecific marker. Not a cause for worry
