It may not be a case of epididymitis. You should have an ultrasound of testicle done to rule out epididymoorchitis. You are feeling pain post blunt trauma to the testis. The pain will take some times to go , mean while you may use a testicular support ( scrotal bandage) and anti-inflammatory medications. There is no chance of developing any testicular cancer due to this cause . Epididymitis that cause chronic disease occurs due mostly to sexually transmitted infections or infection from urine at this age not due to trauma.
