Epididymitis mild

Respectful Sir/Madam, Does mild epididymitis leads to any chronic disease? Does it leads to any testicular cancer or any other cancers? Please kindly update the detail regarding the same. No swelling, no redness and only little pain comes while standing for long hours when the right side testicle droop. Had met the urologist and been told that nothing to worry about the same. This was occured when my 3 years old kid punched me on the sac and hence later went for an ultrasound. Kindly clear my anxious doubt. Thanking you,

It may not be a case of epididymitis. You should have an ultrasound of testicle done to rule out epididymoorchitis. You are feeling pain post blunt trauma to the testis. The pain will take some times to go , mean while you may use a testicular support ( scrotal bandage) and anti-inflammatory medications. There is no chance of developing any testicular cancer due to this cause . Epididymitis that cause chronic disease occurs due mostly to sexually transmitted infections or infection from urine at this age not due to trauma.
