Epiboly wound

Just wondering if/why silver nitrate is (or seems to be) the only chemical debridement agent indicated for treatment of hypergranulating/epiboly wounds. Can acetic acid (among other things) be used for the same with less skin staining/other side effects? I ask this because both acetic acid and silver nitrate are suggested for the burning of warts. And I have used acetic acid (not silver nitrate) on warts with great results.

I would suggest that you follow advice of your treating doctor and avoid experimenting with medications on your own.
