Is it safe to use emergency contraception twice in a month, especially within a gap of 10 days? What are the side effects?

It's not advisable to use emergency contraceptive methods very often. There will be disturbances in your menstrual cycles along with other side effects like headache, mood changes, weighy gain, breast tenderness decreased libido etc. Emergency pills are not the first line of contraception and should be used only when 1st method fails .
