Electrotherapy of leg during pregnnacy

Hi I am 16 weeks pregnant ..and having some nerve problem in my left leg .I have been told to have physiotherapy done ..which is specifically electrotherapy .Is electrotherapy safe during pregnnacy ?? Pls suggest .

Hi good morning Thnxs for your question Congratulations for ur pregnancy. I think u should consult ur Gynecologist regarding this issue. As ur Gynecologist know ur case details. Buy I think electrical nerve stimulation @16week not advisable. Unless u have serious problems. Hi. electrotherapy can't be given around any area which is close to abdomen. You can take cold fomentation instead.

I would not prefer it... unless other methods like pelvic alignment, yoga asanas , accupuncture, accupressure has been tried out.
