Edema suffering
Hi, my mom is suffering from edema ( we believe). She always has swelling on her feet, legs, lower part of hands which also causes itchy feeling. We are not sure which specialist to see in this suffering. This is ongoing for long now and no doctor has been able to solve this problem. We need advice as it is very hard for my mom to even walk or use her hands for to swelling and it's associated pain. Please help.

Edema associated with itching can be due to hypersensitivity reaction . There can be other reasons also
But needs to be evaluated.
As i have no idea about the medical history of your mother so wont be able to advise much.
