Dr. Please tell me How do I differentiate between ear vax/fluid and pus. ?  My dr. is saying again and again that it's not pus just relax but it smell like pus.

Wax is oily and non foul smelling if it's foul smelling it's more likely to be pus or fungal infection if it's immediately after surgery but should be taken care of easily with medication

If it smells like pus and looks like pus, it probably is pus! I suggest you visit another ENT Surgeon locally for a second opinion as if it is pus, it must be treated aggressively!
