I suddenly hear high frequency sound in ear. it goes away within 8-10 seconds . This has happened 3rd time in 1.5. Months. Is everything alright with my ear?

U might be having tinnitus, what’s the nature of the sound is it whistling or grinding like. Is there any heaviness in ear or decreased hearing, how long it lasts. Any history of ear discharge or head injury
