Hi, Last week I am blessed with a baby boy. The  concern I have is by birth my son's left ear is folded and just want to know whether it is external folding or does it have impact from inside as well or whether he can hear or not. Thanks & Regards, Mohammed Liyaqath Hussain

External ear deformity may or may not be associated with middle or inner ear problems. Hearing in children can be assessed by audiological tests such as BERA and OAE. If hearing of baby is normal there is nothing much to worry
