I am suffering from dry cough and cold from past three days.. Please suggest me which medicine should I take??

hey, gargle salt water daily, take hot air inhalation daily avoid cold items cold weather ,avoid oily food items for few days ,take warm shower itll subside in few days if its simple cold or else consult physician
