Drug pricing differences

Is there any difference btween drugs of different companies with same salt? Eg CEFTUM 500 of GSK costs 86/tab but OMNIXIM from CIPLA is cheaper. And there are many drugs with same salt even within same company which are priced differently, eg OMNIXIM & CEFADUR CA from CIPLA have  same salt but different prices. Reason?

Hi there will be no difference if the content is same...price depends upon the pharmaceutical companies...go for generic drugs they will be cheaper regards
