I have pcod and i need to take hormonal medicines to induce periods. Sometimes I have excessively heavy flow and sometimes just spotting. This time I had too many, extremely big sized blood clots everytime I go to pee. I have excessive pain and cramps in pelvis area, thighs, abdomen. My abdomen gets swollen too because of so much pain. Why is it? Is it possible that I have fibroids too?

Fibroids also cause heavy menses and sometimes pain, but to diagnose that we need to see you clinically or get a sonography done. PCOS also is known to cause heavy and irregular bleeding. What all medications are you one. Also is your thyroid evaluated?
