Divacon impact after sudden miscarriage

My wife conceived and after 2 month unfortunate miscaarge happen. We have consulted gynaecologist and they removed corpus and advised few medicines. One medicine prescribed is divacon tablet for complete course of 21 days. After 6 month we want to plan a baby.but I have read somewhere this medicine can avoid pregnancy up to 3 year. I am confused . Please resolve our confusion
