Discomfort after urination
I feel discomfort in my penis and urethra after urination , specially in the morning. This not actually very deep pain but a rather discomfort actually. Last year I was diagnosed with UTI and was cured by Norflox and Alkasol but this year it not getting cured. Doctor gave me 1 week of Linezolid and
1 month of Martifur MR but symptoms are not gone even after 20 days. I have done urine culture and USG of KUB and prostate. In usg they found nothing but in urine culture they found Enterococcus Facilisis.
Please tell me what should I do.
Chronic urinary tract infection may have underlying cause like chronic prostatitis,stricture or resistant infection.
Consult a urologist for further evaluation by uroflowmery,cystoscopy,repeat culture and sensitivity and clinical physical examination including per rectal and post Prostatic massage fluids culture.treatment as per investigation findings
