My mother is 81 and has not passed stools for past 8 days.She is eating g as usual and seems quite normal. How often shud a 82 year old pass stools

Unless this is her usual pattern of passing stools she needs to be examined. Older people may develop impacted faeces that requires manual removal or enemas.
