My son had fever (100 degree) which was normalized in 2-3 days. After 4 days, he developed red rushes on his entire body. On doctor's advice we got CBC test along with INS and IGM where IGM was positive. In 3 days rushes disappeared from the body. There were some exceptions in CBC report ( low pcv, mcv, neutrophils) though the platelets were in normal range (though it was near to normal range). Doctor adviced to keep my son hydrated and said that he has mild infection which can be severe so he needs to monitored closely. He has been active in these days and playing normally. After 2 days, we again got CBC test report wherein we observed that hemoglobin and PCV were in upward trend. Again after 3 days, in CBC report we observed increased hemoglobin level and high PCV with positive IGM. We understand that these trends are dangerous though my son is still active. We took advice We need advice whether we should hospitalize our son or take care of him at home only. Regards, Bharat
