Delay in periods
Hello! I had sex on 28th February and 1st March and it was protected everytime we did. We have checked the condom before and after every use because recently a condom had broken while we were in the act so we didn't want any kind of problem this time. But it's the date for my period and I haven't got it yet.
My period cycle is of 26 days . The last month it ocurred I am not quite sure but 18th midnight I guess. I have confirmed with my partner as well if there could have been any mistake but he is sure there was none from our side and even I am, but still I am worried.
Could you tell me what can be the reason? How long should I wait ?
Hi, as your cycles are of 26 days, your ovulation occurs on day 12 or so. Now your last period started on 18 th Feb your ovulation expected on around 1st March 2017and expected period date is 13 or 14th March. So relationship at ovulation time with single protection may give pregnancy by micro leakage. Better confirm or rulout pregnancy by either ultrasound or urine pregnancy test or blood for Beta HCG levels.
