Daughter doesnt urinate properly today.

Hi my baby is 6 months and 28 days old, usually she urinates more than 10 times in a24 hrs , but today she  urinate very less,around 4 times from morning.is it serious, she had fever yestersay and visited doctor and got drops for the same  and what can be done to normalize it , how much ml of water can be given  in 24 hrs .

If she has history of fever & now urine output is also less - as you said, it need further workup. Few more questions :- What about her activity, is she active ? How much maximum temperature is measured? Is urine clear ? Few investigation may be needed. You must take consultation.

Give small amount of liquids  frequently  in the form of milk breathing or formula so she is passing urine well

During fever it is important to hydrate baby well. Her minimum fluid intake depends on her weight. Atleast 600ml fluid should be given.

Fever causes dehydration. Fluid intake should be monitored. Around 500-600 ml per day intake should be sufficient for your baby.
