Dandruff occurs due to growth of a fungi on excessively oily scalp. Use an antifungal shampoo on regular basis to keep it under check. Depending on the stage of dandruff you can be prescribed certain medications. Avoid excessive application of oils, gels,and conditioners to scalp. plz see a dermatologist for the same who can examine properly
