I'm being prescribed a Ketoconazole shampoo every time and all the different kind off shampoos work for only a month . I've used maybe like more than 15 types of ketoconazole shampoos they work fine for first month and then nothing happens , Pls Suggest.

Hi. First of all has the dermatologist who you have been consulting confirmed that it's only dandruff and no other pathology. Sometimes a condition known as psoriasis which commonly affects scalp is routinely mistaken for dandruff. Hence a closer examination has to be done. If not, then using a shampoo on a daily basis can also be troublesome and cause dryness of the scalp. Hence use a shampoo only two to three times a week followed by a conditioner.
