What is the best way to avoid ranula /mucocele recurrence after ranula /mucocele surgery under tongue (floor of the mouth).most of the time it comes back even after the surgery.

RANULA if recurrent needs to be addressed properly by surgeon rather than you. There is very less you as patient can do to avoid recurrence. Recurrent RANULA needs to be treated by doing surgery known as marsupalization with sublingual gland excision.
