I've been having a crackling ear. Basically, sounds of crackling, popping, crisping and noise appears whenever i swallow, speak, or flex the ear muscles. This problem has been for more over 2 years. In the past, I did go scuba diving and listen to loud music. I went to the doctor and they said my ear is fine. But, I just don't know why both my ears make crackling sounds. I hope you can help me. And if there are any over-the-counter treatments, herbs, supplements Very much appreciated. Thanks. -1

Crackling sound in the ear can be tinnitus. If it is associated with flexing of muscle, swallowing and yawning then probably it is due to eustachian tube dysfunction. If it is not troublesome and not bothering your daily work and sleep then no treatment is required
