Hi. I understand your concerns. If sputum is negative. But x ray still has some features then you will need to undergo a procedure called bronchoscopy to rule out tb. Consult a pulmonologist for the same.

I can understand your concern.
TB or not TB is not your call to make.
If they have seen something on the x-ray which make them think about TB, then you should just go ahead with the treatment they give rather than being confused about something which you do not know.
There can be positive on x-ray but negative on sputum test.
