My wife’s pregnant and in her 34th week ...she has a bad case of cough and cold her nose is congested and she also has a sore throat Can she take Bresol syrup for the cough

She seems to be suffering from viral upper respiratory tract infection which is a common type of throat and nose infection in this season. She may need to take simple over the counter cold medicines, steam inhalation and saline nasal drops
