Past history of tuberculosis,medical course completed and doc adviced to stop medication. However now there is breathlessness and cough since 1 year ... doctors say there is cuff accumulated in the lungs.cannot afford expensive medications

Hello there. The lungs have been damaged to a certain extent by the past tuberculosis therefore sputum can get easily accumulated. You need to take steam inhalation daily and you can take a mucolytic and expectorant like syrup. Asthakind-ls 10ml thrice a day along with tab. Deriphylline 150 retard twice a day. For further help. Consult a physician in person. Regards
