Continuation of Dicorate Er 250 mg

I was diagnosed with epilepsy back in 2008. Since then I am having Dicorate Er with reduced doses. but still I am taking it. So is there any full cure for this illness or I have to take this tablet for lifetime?

Usually takes about 5 to 7 years for the physician to fully taper of the medication. Some small dosages will continue as maintenance dose
