My mother is diabetic and currently in USA. Off late she is experiencing sweating in her sleep and tingling in mouth which stats for 15-20 mins. She gets up and eats chocolate and feels better in a while. She is on insulin. Please see details below: Injection Lispro: 20-20-14 Injection Lantis: 38 after-dinner Tablet Jalra : 500 mg Metphormin Please advise urgently. Thank you

She is most likely suffering from hypoglycaemia in midnight ie. low blood sugar levels. She should reduce the night dose of lispro and lantus by 2 units each. Furthurmore, she will be required to be assessed regading the cause of hypoglycaemia.
