My mother is suffering from cough with flum from past few days. Got esr as high local doctor has put her on taximo from past 4 days, suspected bronchitis lung infection but no use can you please suggest

Hi, Welcome to Practo, Cough with phelgm indicates infection in lung's or wind pipe. If taximo is not helping than gt her Xray done and if require than phelgm test to look for which kind of organism is cause of this infection. Also give her plain water steam for 3 times in a day to soothen throat.
