Congestion in chest area
I am feeling discomfort in chest area..mainly on the left side since a week. There is no prediminant pain however. I wake up in the middle of the night with slight congestion in chest. My left arm is also having mild pain and sometimes my toe on left leg shows tingling sensatiin. What may be the reason? Thanks in advance
Hello, Your symptoms could possibly point to heart disease if no obvious respiratory infection in the form of cough/fever/expectoration(sputum) is present. Since you have not mentioned previous illness/ medication, I would suggest get following BASIC investigations done- CHEST XRAY (PA view), ECG, BP monitoring, blood test CBC. These will help to differentiate heart disease from lung infection. Then some advanced work up can be done.
