Definitely my friend,
Before you treat such a tooth again it is necessary to determine how much of your original tooth structure has been affected or lost.We should also find wether the yellowness is just due to staining or wether caries process has started again.
Mostly there are two options:
1.Refilling the tooth with composite after removing affected tooth structure.
2.In case if the caries has spread under the composite and reaching your pulp(nerve),a root canal should be done followed by composite filling.
The decision to fabricate a crown will totally depend on the esthetic/look of the tooth and if more than 40% structure has been lost and if the composite restoration is not looking satisfactory.
BEST IF LUCK !
Next Steps
