  4. Common cold. This medicine for baby?

My 2and half month old baby (Weight 5.14 kg) is having a common cold. The doctor has suggested Maxtra drops ( 10 drops three times a day) but after the first dose itself he's feeling so sleepy and drowsy. How many days I need to give this syrup and is this normal behaviour after taking this medicine for baby?

This medicine does cause sleepiness The dose is correct for his weight (10 drop = 0.5 ml/ 3 times a day) You may give it only at night and through the day use saline nasal drops.
