Cold and fever

My husband had fever, cold and cough and bodu ache from the past tuesday, from wednesday my father in law had the same symptoms. Both tested negative for COVID rtpcr. Now me and my 2.5yr old son having same symptom. I also tested COVID rtpcr negative. Do i have to test my son also??

No need of testing for your son . Since all of you,tested negative it seems he will also tests negative, since he is also affected with the same strain.

If you are mildly symptomatic and RTPCR negative , then no need to worry, you can stay at home isolation. If symptoms like shortness of breath, continuous fever spikes, not maintaining saturation in room air, <90% , then you can go for HRCT Thorax and better go for Hospitalization

If your son was in contact with persons outside , yes you should get him tested too.
